  1982   March Certified as an International Air Transport Association (IATA) air-cargo agent.  
  1983   August Singapore Stationed Personnel Office opened.

  1984   April Baraki Sales Office opened under the Tokyo Branch.  
  1984   April Non-Vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) license also obtained
under new marine-transport legislation in the U.S.A.
 
  1985   January Dusseldorf Office of Meiko Europe opened.  
  1985   May Hakata Sub-branch Office upgraded to Kyushu Branch.  
  1985   May Name of local subsidiary changed to Meiko America, Inc. (U.S.A.)  
  1985   August Osaka Sub-branch Office upgraded to Osaka Branch.  
  1985   October Stevedoring and longshoring integrated by revision of the Port Transport Business Law,
and license for harbor loading and unloading obtained.
 
  1986   March Meiko Euroexpress N.V. established in Antwerp, Belgium.  
  1986   May Yokkaichi Sales Office upgraded to Yokkaichi Branch.  
  1987   April Suwa Sales Office and Hamamatsu Sales Office opened.  
  1987   August Columbus Office of Meiko America opened.  
  1987   December Nagoya Airport Sales Office opened.  
  1988   April Meiko Trans Canada, Inc. established.  
  1988   November Fukuoka Airport Sales Office opened under the Kyushu Branch.  
  1988   December Designated as a London Metal Exchange (LME) business.

  1990   June Air-freight forwarder permit obtained.

a locally incorporated company.
 
  1996   October Meiko Trans (Thailand) Co., Ltd. established.  
  1997   June Yokohama Sales Office opened.  
  1997   September Meiko Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. established.  
  1997   November Sendai Sales Office opened.  
  1997   November Airport Office opened under Meiko Trans (Thailand) Co., Ltd.  
  1998   May ISO 9002 certification obtained (Marine Operations Department, Container Department,
and Air Freight Department).
 
  1999   May Dusseldorf Stationed Personnel Office upgraded to Dusseldorf Branch.  
  1999   October Toyohashi Sales Office opened.  
  1999   December Mikawa Port General port-transportation license (limited) obtained.  
  2000   December Shanghai Stationed Personnel Office upgraded to Meiko Trans (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.,
a locally incorporated company.
 
  2001   September ISO 9001 certification obtained (Yokkaichi Branch).  
  2001   November ISO 14001 certification obtained (Yokkaichi Branch and Nambu Office).  
  2002   April Guangzhou Office opened under Meiko Trans (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.  
  2002   June Industrial-waste collection and transportation permits obtained
(for Aichi Prefecture and the city of Nagoya).
 
  2003   April Suzhou Stationed Personnel Office opened.  
  2004   October ISO 9001 certification obtained (Kyushu Branch).  
  2005   January Guangzhou Office upgraded to Meiko Trans (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.,
a locally incorporated company.
 
  2005   February Central Japan International Airport Sales Office opened.(Seagull Centrair Terminal)  
  2005   June Shanghai Meiko International Logistics Co., Ltd. established.  
  2005   September Poland Branch opened under Meiko Europe N.V.  
  2006   April ISO 14001 certification obtained (Kyushu Branch).  
  2006   June Poland Branch upgraded to Meiko Trans Polska Sp. z o.o.
a locally incorporated company.
